- Dukara are docile Pokémon that live in groups near lakes and rivers. Trainers often spot them basking on calm waters with only their leafy crests sticking above the surface

- Dukara call to each other across the water, a sound often mistaken for the croaking of frogs. 

- Ancient texts describe them as “keepers of ponds,” since they scatter seeds along the shorelines they visit.
